Vertex Renewables are the sole distributor of Skyrota vertical axis wind turbines in Wales and the South West of England. After lengthy research into the available technologies, in our opinion these are the best and most practical domestic and small commercial turbines on the market.

The Skyrota is a 5kW turbine whose innovative design is aimed to maximise efficiency in the variable wind conditions we experience inland.

Our service covers everything from feasibility testing, submitting planning applications and initiating procedures with the DNO for grid connection, through to final assembly and installation of the equipment.

We also have links with specialists in solar panels, ground source heat pumps and with installers of anaerobic digesters; so are able to provide assistance with a wide range of micro-generation technologies.

The Skyrota turbine

An almost silent 5kW wind turbine, designed for maximum efficiency even in changeable wind conditions, which can assist landowners in meeting their energy needs – while also combatting climate change.
